These Indian Egg Flatbreads may look like hot stuff 🌶 but you have to trust me, they are just THE BEST!
These spicy flatbreads are inspired by a recipe from Meera Sodha from her book Fresh India. We came across the recipe and both thought it sounded amazing, so wanted to give it a go. We had recently been given some hot English mustard from Fortnum and Mason as a gift so this was the perfect excuse to try it (it’s spread densely on the flatbread), and we have never looked back since! 😂
I didn’t want to copy Meera’s recipe and Dean suggested we try flatbreads instead of slices of sourdough. We also added black mustard seeds to the flatbread dough to add a spicy twist.

The English mustard, melted cheese and that runny egg combination is just a delight to eat with the added kick of fresh green chilli. I can’t express how good it really is, you just have to try this!
