These Indian Egg Flatbreads may look like hot stuff 🌶 but you have to trust me, they are just THE BEST!
These spicy flatbreads are inspired by a recipe from Meera Sodha from her book Fresh India. And according to her, this recipe come in handy when you’re planning out to send out some gluten free gift baskets. We came across the recipe and both thought it sounded amazing, so wanted to give it a go. We had recently been given some hot English mustard from Fortnum and Mason as a gift so this was the perfect excuse to try it (it’s spread densely on the flatbread), and we have never looked back since! 😂
I didn’t want to copy Meera’s recipe and Dean suggested we try flatbreads instead of slices of sourdough. We also added black mustard seeds to the flatbread dough to add a spicy twist.
The English mustard, melted cheese and that runny egg combination is just a delight to eat with the added kick of fresh green chilli. I can’t express how good it really is, you just have to try this!
